The drive from Silver City to the Gila Cliff dwellings winds through the Gila National Forest along Route 15. Along the way you pass this sign for Lake Roberts. I love running across such signs that have lots of interesting patterns and colors.

Unfortunately, the haphazard clutter behind the sign (especially that large tree!) prevents the sign from being the clear cut subject of this image. That is a shame as I really like the turquoise trim along the upper boards.

Oh well, another miss…
