Angel Oak

Okay, there is nothing special about this image, except for the subject itself.  This is the Angel Oak located on Johns Island, South Carolina (near Charleston and Kiawah Island).  I took this panorama the old fashioned way, before I bought my Really Right Stuff PG-02 Pro Omni-Pivot Package.  The old fashioned way?  Take a picture, pivot your head and take another picture.  Unfortunately, I lost a lot of the image when Photoshop did the merge.  Oh well, still an impressive sight. 

If you are ever near Charleston, stop by and check out the big tree near the intersection of State Road S-10-20 (into Kiawah Island) and Maybank Highway (700) out of Charleston SC.
