The image above is the side of caboose 583 from the Lehigh and New England railroad line. You can see a sister caboose, 581, in a rail yard by scrolling to the bottom of this website.
The amount of detail in this image, such as rivet heads, rust streaks, straight lines, circles and text add a lot of visual interest to a rather simple image. I also found it interesting how crisp edges of the text, white circles, and yellow line contrast with the rust streaks.
