Marble Balls (click to enlarge)

A box of interesting things sitting on the ground is about the easiest composition one can find.  At the Brimfield Antique Show, you can barely take a dozen steps without seeing a box of something interesting sitting on the ground or on a table.

This image comes from a box of marble balls sitting in a cardboard box.  I don’t know what I would do with them, but they they make for a pretty good image with the cracks, flaws, and discoloration.
