Provocative Houses In A Row

Rainbow Road

Nikon Z6 II, 1/500 sec, f/9.0, 35mm, ISO 400

You have seen Rainbow Row in Charleston, SC, and the Painted Ladies in San Francisco, CA. Well, they do not hold a candle to Jelly Bean Row in Saint John’s NF. Those other places are a few houses in colorful paint, Jelly Bean Row is dozens, if not hundreds of brightly colored houses.

Unfortunately, they are not overly photogenic because of the telephone wires and parked cars.

When we returned from our Newfoundland road trip, I built a shed in my backyard. I decided to paint it using the traditional jelly bean palette colors of Carrot Stick and Sea Sailor Blue. I have received many compliments on my shed from people walking through the neighbor hood. Here is a link to the Benjamin Moore color palette.
