This is one of the two 10″ guns used by the Royal Canadian Artillery units stationed at Fort Cape Spear during World War II. You get two slices of history when visiting Cape Fear Lighthouse National Historic Site, one for the lighthouse, and one for the Fort. This also means twice the photography fun!
