Collapse Of The Blue Stripped Iceberg

Ice Berg Trail In The Sea

Nikon Z6 II, 1/2000 sec, f/1.6, 44mm, ISO 50

Iceberg detail from Sea Breeze Park on North Twillingate Island in Newfoundland. Note the darker blue stripes on the left side iceberg, and a few small ones on the rights side iceberg. These stripes appear when parts of the glacier melt and re-freeze or when seawater floods cracks and freezes. These stripes add such a nice accent to plain white icebergs.
