Confidential History In The Town Of Conche

Nikon Z6 II, 1/40 sec, f/4.0, 32mm, ISO 2000
There is one reason for the average tourist to visit the town of Conche, Newfoundland, and that is the French Shore Interpretive Center. Located within the center is the French Shore Tapestry. Just slightly shorter than the famous Bayeau Tapestry (227 feet versus 230 feet) it is every bit as impressive. Even better, you can talk to the women that did the embroidery!
Unfortunately, photography is not allowed, but rest assured, the trip to this far corner of Newfoundland is well worth the effort.
