Concealed Patterns In The Dunes

The Glamis Sand Dunes (aka Imperial Sand Dunes) is a great place for those repeating patterns compositions. You can get repeating patterns at the micro level (the small wind ridges) and the major-level (between successive dunes).
It is about an hour drive from downtown Yuma to the Hugh T. Osborne Lookout Park, so you don’t have to get up too early to catch sunrise at the dunes.
