Guardian Angel In The Desert

While doing some business at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms CA, I ran upon this A-4L parked at the front gate of the airfield. According to an amateur historians website (here) this aircraft served with various Navy and Marine Corps attack squadrons from 1960 until retiring in 1976.
