Lurking Details at the Asylum

Another window image from the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum (see another here). This black and white image with heavy contrast fits the mood of this old building. Shooting black and white compositions late in the day is a perfect way to warm up for night photography inside the asylum. On the other hand, black and white images of the building are a bit spooky, which gets even spookier inside the asylum at night!
