Wonderful Tribute to a Fallen Friend

I don’t know Samuel Kalalau, but he must have been quite a person to have such a nice tribute to his life. I found this marker while walking the trail between Hāna Bay Beach Park and Kaihalulu Red Sand Beach.

I captured a quick image without putting too much thought into the composition. With a little more time, I think there is a much better image featuring the marker, the lava rocks, and the ocean.
