Blissful Worship In the Tropics

This is the Palapala Ho‘omau Congregational Church as seen from the coastline to the south of the church. There is a large grassy lawn between the church and the ocean, perfect for a picnic and to savor the beauty that is the Hana Highway.

Charles Lindburgh’s gravesite is the white spot near the left third of the image, below that cloud sticking out from the trees. What a wonderful place to spend all of eternity.

This basically marked our Hana Highway endpoint. We continued a little bit further to Alelele Bridge but then decided that we did not want to risk the rental car on a road where rental cars were not supposed to go. Maybe next time…
