Expressing a Jubilant History in Door Panels

After I had visited my preplanned photography locations, I set about on a walkabout through downtown Santa Fe. During my walk I happened upon the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi where I captured this image of the front door.
I was actually a bit disappointed in my planning for this trip. I usually put churches, chapels, and the like eon my list of places to visit. There are usually many photographic opportunities, as long as services are not in session. The most visited page on this blog happens to be from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
