A View of the Colorado River From Hopi Point

What do you do photographers do with their time between capturing sunrise and sunset images? They scout future locations. After sunrise one day, I rode the shuttle bus around the western side of the canyon scouting the scenic overlooks. At the time of my visit, shuttles buses ran early enough to reach these overlooks for sunrise.
I believe Hopi Point is one of the few overlooks where you can actually see the Colorado River. I took this image around 1030 in the morning, well after sunrise. There was nice cloud cover and a rainstorm in the distance. This made for some interesting images compared to the other days where there was bright sunshine and no clouds in the sky.
