The Glamis Sand Dunes<\/a> (aka Imperial Sand Dunes) is a great place for those repeating patterns compositions. You can get repeating patterns at the micro level (the small wind ridges) and the major-level (between successive dunes). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is about an hour drive from downtown Yuma to the Hugh T. Osborne Lookout Park, so you don’t have to get up too early to catch sunrise at the dunes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
