This image shows a piece of petrified wood at the entrance to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/grca\/planyourvisit\/verkamps.htm\">Verkamp&#8217;s Visitor Center<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This visitor center is in Grand Canyon Village which is a nice area to rest up between your sunrise and sunset.
