This image comes from the Big Room at Carlsbad Caverns<\/a>. \u00a0The brighter\u00a0stalactite<\/a> formation on the left is named\u00a0The Chandelier<\/a>. \u00a0<\/em>The Big Room is the one you roam around during the self-guided tour. \u00a0One could spend hours in the Big Room photographing the various formations.<\/p>\n

I like the black and white version of this image much better than the color one. \u00a0The black and white image places emphasis on all of the pointy stalactites. \u00a0In the color image, the points kind of get lost within the natural brown and tan colors.<\/p>\n
