Washington Cog Railway<\/a>. \u00a0The cog railway is a great alternative to walking or driving up Mt. Washington. \u00a0During the ride, conductors let passengers alternate looking out the front window of the passenger car. \u00a0This provides excellent views of the surrounding mountains.<\/p>\n<p>One word of caution. \u00a0No matter how hot it might be at the railway station, pack warm clothes! \u00a0We went in July and it was pretty hot at the station. \u00a0By the time the train arrived at the\u00a0top of Mt.
