This stone hut is at Highland Village<\/a> Nova Scotia, \u00a0one of 11 historic properties at the site. \u00a0In the background is\u00a0Bras d’Or Lake.<\/p>\n

This hut depicts\u00a0settler life in the 1700s. \u00a0Obviously, the lack of windows makes it somewhat dark inside. \u00a0It was surprising how roomy the hut is inside. \u00a0There is plenty of room for the kitchen, beds, your seven kids, and a barnyard animal or two.<\/p>\n

I wonder how they get the lawnmower on the roof to trim the grass?<\/p>\n
