Here is a wall in the blacksmith’s shop at Sherbrooke Village in Nova Scotia. \u00a0This is a heritage site\u00a0depicting a typical Nova Scotian village from 1860 to pre-World War I. \u00a0For you east coast Americans, Sherbrooke Village is set up sort of like Jamestown and Williamsburg in Virginia. \u00a0Interpreters dress in period costumes and wander about town and the functional homes and shops educating visitors on Nova Scotian life during that period of time.<\/p>\n

I seem to be attracted to blacksmith shops. \u00a0They always seem to be full of interesting compositions, such Grant-Kohrs Ranch in Montana<\/a>, and\u00a0Saugus Ironworks<\/a> outside Boston.<\/p>\n

Sherbrooke Village even has a photography camp<\/a>\u00a0that looks interesting for beginner and intermediate photographers. \u00a0That is, if you enjoy dorm style accommodations and shared bathrooms.<\/p>\n
