Here is a wall in the blacksmith’s shop at Sherbrooke Village in Nova Scotia.  This is a heritage site depicting a typical Nova Scotian village from 1860 to pre-World War I.  For you east coast Americans, Sherbrooke Village is set up sort of like Jamestown and Williamsburg in Virginia.  Interpreters dress in period costumes and wander about town and the functional homes and shops educating visitors on Nova Scotian life during that period of time.

I seem to be attracted to blacksmith shops.  They always seem to be full of interesting compositions, such Grant-Kohrs Ranch in Montana, and Saugus Ironworks outside Boston.

Sherbrooke Village even has a photography camp that looks interesting for beginner and intermediate photographers.  That is, if you enjoy dorm style accommodations and shared bathrooms.
