One last image from the metal sculptures at Galleta Meadows near Borrego Springs, CA. This one employed light painting using a handheld flashlight. It took twelve attempts to get the exposure and flashlight timing/movement to produce an acceptable image.

I enjoyed my first trip to Borrego Springs so much, I made a special night trip on my next business trip. This image was captured at 0430 which required a 0230 wakeup at my Borrego Springs hotel. It is highly recommended that you drive to this location win daylight, and pick up some good landmarks for the required turns.

This is the most impressive sculpture at the Galletta Meadows Estate located in Borrego Springs, CA. This sculpture has five sections rising above the ground, for almost 100 yards. I could not get a good angle to include any more of the serpent than the head; a drone would have come in handy on this day.
